The genesis of IndustrialOS
Finding your way through complexity!
🚀 It all starts on the shop floor
For over 20 years in industry — particularly in the aerospace sector — I held various positions, eventually taking on roles as Operations Director and Plant Manager. I’ve experienced firsthand the daily pressure, the constant trade-offs between production and improvement, the urgency that overrides everything else, the strain on teams, and the difficulty of sustaining improvement initiatives.
I’ve seen companies invest in cutting-edge tools without having laid the groundwork: no standards, no management routines, no improvement structure. And unsurprisingly, it didn’t hold up.
What I’ve learned is that good intentions aren’t enough. You need a framework, a direction, and a shared language.
🎯 A Realization That Stayed With Me
When I stepped away from operations, I took the time to reflect and understand why so many improvement initiatives I’d seen or led were failing.
What I observed is that many SMEs want to improve, but don’t know how to structure their transformation over time. They face four major roadblocks:
No time to build a real improvement plan
No internal skills to structure the journey
No clear framework to track and manage progress
And above all, difficulty engaging teams and aligning actions with the company vision
That’s when I started to design a response…
🛠️ IndustrialOS: laying the foundations for structured continuous improvement
I didn't want to reinvent the wheel. I wanted to make continuous improvement accessible, coherent, sustainable, and especially adapted to the realities of industrial SMEs.
So I created IndustrialOS, a solution based on three pillars:
1. An interactive guide (see)
To help every company position itself, identify its priorities, and move forward step by step.
A shared language, clear levels, and tools adapted to each stage.
No need to be a Lean expert or a certified Black Belt — we move forward in a practical, grounded way.
2. A Digital Platform to drive transformation
No more scattered action plans, forgotten Excel spreadsheets, or isolated initiatives.
Everything is centralized: priorities, actions, indicators, field evidence.
We connect strategic decisions with daily actions.
3. An active community to avoid going alone
Because we learn better together. Because sharing doubts and successes is also part of progress.
I wanted to create a space where executives, quality managers, operational staff, and experts can help each other, share experiences, and find inspiration.
💡 And beyond that, a few ingredients that make the difference
Realistic and actionable progression scenarios tailored for SMEs
Thematic key moments to pace the transformation in the company
Gamified quizzes, impactful visuals, an AI mascot (Leany) to drive the initiative
And above all, a desire to make things concrete, human, engaging
🎯 A strong conviction
IndustrialOS is not a miracle solution.
It is an operating system for progress, structured yet flexible, designed to last.
My goal is clear: to help companies take control of their transformation, with method, clarity, and impact.
Because I am convinced that industrial SMEs have everything they need to succeed - provided they have a direction, suitable tools, and long-term support.
